About the role
The Role
T1 Energy is looking to hire an Executive Administrator to support our Engineering team. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role for someone who thrives in a technical environment and knows how to keep complex teams organized, aligned, and moving. You'll be embedded with a team of engineers who are building something that matters, and your job is to make sure nothing falls through the cracks while they do it.
This role is ideal for someone early in their administrative career who has a background in engineering, a curiosity for how things are built, or hands-on experience supporting technical teams. You don't need to be an engineer, but you do need to speak the language well enough to keep up.
What You'll Do
Provide day-to-day administrative support across the Engineering team, including calendar management, scheduling, and meeting coordination.
Organize and maintain engineering documentation, project trackers, reports, and team resources.
Coordinate logistics for team meetings, site visits, workshops, and cross-functional reviews.
Assist with travel arrangements and budget tracking for the team.
Serve as a communication hub, routing information, following up on action items, and keeping the right people in the loop.
Support onboarding for new engineering team members.
Partner with other Executive Administrators across the organization to coordinate company-wide initiatives and events.
Anticipate the team's needs and proactively solve problems before they become a distraction.
Who You Are
Organized to a fault — you live by your to-do list, and nothing slips past you.
Comfortable in a technical environment and able to hold your own in conversations about engineering projects and priorities.
A self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what needs doing.
Calm under pressure and adaptable when plans change (and in manufacturing, they do).
A strong communicator who can interface with everyone from engineers on the floor to senior leadership.
A team player with a low ego and a high output.
Qualifications
2+ years of administrative or executive support experience, ideally in a technical, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field, or equivalent experience supporting engineering or technical teams, is a strong plus.
Proficiency with productivity and scheduling tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, etc.).
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet) is a plus.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
About T1 Energy
At T1 Energy (NYSE: TE), we build energy. We are an American solar manufacturer building the future of energy abundance. From our headquarters in Austin, Texas, we’re pioneering a domestic solar supply chain with one mission: to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy.
We started with G1_Dallas, one of the most advanced solar manufacturing facilities in the world. The 5GW facility is located in Wilmer, Texas. It has the capacity to produce more than 20,000 solar modules a day for solar farms that power American homes, businesses, and keep our energy grids resilient.
Next is G2_Austin: Our new solar cell fab in Rockdale, Texas. Its first 2.1GW phase is designed to produce next-generation TOPCon cells beginning in 2027. As the fab grows, it’s expected to support up to 1,800 manufacturing jobs. Modules assembled at G1 can run on cells from G2.
What comes after G2? Come join us and help figure that out. And then build it. The sun has always shone on America. Now you can turn it into abundant electricity.
The T1 Way
We’re all in on the mission, and we pursue it as one team. We move fast, own our results, and treat each other with respect. Egos stay at the door: no one is too senior to roll up their sleeves, and no idea is too small to share. Be sharp, be honest, be human. If you can hold the line and keep a sense of humor, you’ll fit right in.
