SteerBridge is a modern technology company delivering innovative, mission-focused solutions to the U.S. Government and private sector. Leveraging deep expertise in federal acquisition, digital transformation, and emerging technologies, we deliver agile, commercial grade capabilities that accelerate operational effectiveness and drive measurable mission success.

At the core of SteerBridge is our people—especially the veterans whose leadership, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to excellence elevate every project we support. Position Overview

SteerBridge is seeking a data-driven Sustainment Training Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. Working with our program partners and the Post Implementation Training team, this remote position manages the transition from EHR deployment training to ongoing sustainment and measures whether that training is working.

The analyst owns training data end to end: defining outcome measures, collecting and analyzing results, and building dashboards and visualizations that give program leadership a clear view of training effectiveness, readiness, and risk. The role also carries real project management responsibility within the training team, including plans, schedules, dependencies, and deliverables across VA, vendor, and site stakeholders. Success requires an analytical, organized professional who can turn data into decisions and keep complex, multi-party training work on track.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Training Data, Measurement & Analytics

  • Design and apply methods to measure and evaluate training outcomes (e.g., completion, proficiency, knowledge retention, post-training performance, and user adoption), using frameworks such as the Kirkpatrick Model.
  • Collect, clean, validate, and analyze training data from LMS reports, surveys, assessments, ServiceNow tickets, and other program sources.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and data visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel) that track training readiness, completions, effectiveness, and trends across sites and user roles.
  • Translate analysis into clear findings and recommendations that drive curriculum updates, targeted retraining, and continuous improvement.
  • Present training metrics and program status to leadership in executive-ready briefings and reports.

Project Management

  • Plan and manage sustainment training workstreams, including schedules, milestones, dependencies, resources, and deliverables.
  • Lead coordination among VA stakeholders, EHR vendor training teams, site leads, and program partners to transition deployment training into sustainable post-implementation operations.
  • Track assignments, open issues, risks, and action items; identify gaps early and drive them to resolution.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, document decisions and action items, and communicate progress, dependencies, and risks to program leadership.
  • Coordinate updates to training materials and communications tied to EHR software releases, workflow changes, and program priorities.

Reporting, Documentation & Support

  • Prepare accurate weekly status reports, PMO updates, leadership briefings, PowerPoint presentations, and client-facing communications.
  • Support development and maintenance of SOPs, process documentation, training guidance, and transition or handoff materials.
  • Triage and track training-related inquiries, incidents, and ad hoc requests using ServiceNow or comparable tools.
  • Provide program leadership with accurate information and materials for VA client requests and authorized external inquiries.

Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, education, information systems, data analytics, healthcare administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in training operations, learning analytics, IT program coordination, or a related analyst role.
  • Demonstrated experience measuring and evaluating training outcomes, including defining metrics, collecting data, and reporting on training effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing and visualizing data, including building and maintaining dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, charts), or comparable tools.
  • Solid project management experience—planning, scheduling, tracking risks and dependencies, and delivering on deadlines—ideally within a training or learning and development team.
  • Experience preparing professional PowerPoint presentations, concise status reports, and executive-ready summaries.
  • Ability to coordinate with government or enterprise clients, vendors, program managers, and cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
  • Working knowledge of training delivery, adult learning principles, and ongoing user support for enterprise systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or comparable issue-tracking or service-management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting VA EHR Modernization, healthcare IT, electronic health record systems, or federal health programs.
  • Experience with training evaluation frameworks (e.g., Kirkpatrick, Phillips ROI) and learning analytics.
  • Experience pulling and reporting data from learning management systems; SQL or similar query skills a plus.
  • Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or Agile/Scrum) or formal PM training.
  • Experience supporting post-go-live training, sustainment transitions, organizational change management, or enterprise software releases.
  • Background in federal consulting, PMO reporting, or large-scale technology modernization.
  • Experience developing job aids, quick reference guides, SOPs, or training plans.
