Job Overview

Hasbro is expanding its global digital capabilities with SAP Business Suite 4 SAP HANA (S/4HANA) as the foundation of our enterprise operations. We are seeking a Senior Materials & Logistics Functional Lead to own and advance our global S/4HANA Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management (IM), and Logistics Execution (LE) processes. This is a forward-looking role focused on building modern, scalable supply chain capabilities to support our growing Direct-to-Consumer and B2B operations worldwide.

You will serve as the lead strategist and solution owner for procurement, inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, and inventory processes. This role plays a key part in defining standards, shaping the roadmap, and ensuring that our S/4HANA capabilities drive operational excellence across Hasbro’s global supply chain.

This role is critical to Hasbro’s global supply chain strategy and offers the opportunity to own next-generation S/4HANA MM/LE processes; lead digital transformation across procurement, warehousing, and logistics; strengthen operational excellence across global Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) and B2B channels; and ensure S/4HANA becomes a strategic driver of business value.

You will play an essential role in modernizing how Hasbro manages materials, inventory, and logistics in a rapidly evolving digital supply chain ecosystem, collaborating with partners across Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, Finance, and Sales to bring diverse expertise together.

Location and Work Arrangement

This role is based at our Boston, Massachusetts office and follows a hybrid schedule designed to support in-person collaboration. Employees are expected to work onsite on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with the flexibility to work remotely or onsite on Mondays and Fridays.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the global process owner for S/4HANA MM/IM/LE, promoting adoption of S/4HANA-native functionality.
  • Define and maintain global process standards, documentation, and best practices across procurement, warehousing, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance accuracy, scalability, and efficiency in supply chain operations, streamline material flows, improve warehouse efficiency, and optimize delivery and shipment processes.
  • Support Hasbro’s global digital roadmap across Direct-to-Consumer and Business-to-Business channels.
  • Translate business strategies into scalable, S/4HANA-native functional designs for procurement, warehouse operations, goods movement, and outbound logistics.
  • Facilitate future-state design sessions that emphasize S/4HANA simplification concepts and best practices.
  • Oversee configuration, enhancements, and testing activities across the MM/LE landscape.
  • Develop and coordinate User Acceptance Testing, ensuring business alignment and readiness.
  • Partner with Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, Finance, Sales, and other functions to deliver integrated end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Guide external consultants, developers, and functional peers to ensure cohesive solution delivery across modules.
  • Support integrations with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers, Transportation Management Systems, Freight Payment systems, and other partners using Intermediate Document (IDoc), Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI), Application Link Enabling (ALE), and SAP Integration Suite.
  • Maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Drive standardization of business processes and development practices across the Global Applications team.
  • Lead initiatives that streamline material flows, improve warehouse efficiency, and optimize delivery and shipment processes.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of SAP MM/IM/LE configuration and functional solution design experience.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, materials management, inventory control, warehouse processes, and outbound logistics.
  • Expertise across key S/4HANA MM/LE functions, including Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Stock Transport Orders, Release Strategies, Goods Issue/Receipt, Delivery & Shipment Processing, and Warehouse Management concepts.
  • Familiarity with adjacent modules (Finance, Sales and Distribution (SD)) and end-to-end supply chain flows.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Notice Regarding Hasbro’s use of AI in the Recruitment Process

We use Greenhouse’s AI-powered Talent Matching tool to compare your application against our job requirements.

How it works: Talent Matching compares information from your resume and application responses with job-related criteria established and weighted by Hasbro’s recruiting and hiring teams. Depending on the role, these criteria may include relevant skills, work experience, prior job titles, and industry experience.
