About the role
Our Mission and Vision
At Solidgate, our mission is clear: to empower outstanding entrepreneurs to build exceptional internet companies. We exist to fuel the builders — the ones shaping the digital economy — with the financial infrastructure they deserve. To achieve that, we’re on a bold path: to become the #1 payments orchestration platform in the world.
We believe the future of payments is shaped by people who think big, take ownership, and bring curiosity and drive to everything they do. That’s exactly the kind of teammates we want on board.
We're building the #1 payment orchestrator in the world — and the names behind us prove it. Clients include Bolt, Ajax, Nova Post, MEGOGO. Trusted by giants like J.P. Morgan. Ranked #2 in the "Employer of the Year 2026" award by Forbes Ukraine.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our compliance team and help us stay compliant in a fast-moving regulatory world, as Solidgate launches new regulated products and grows its partnerships.
This is a great step for someone with hands-on experience in compliance, regulatory, or legal work who wants to grow into broader ownership. You’ll work across the full cycle of regulatory change, from understanding a new requirement to embedding it into how we work. You’ll have a lead and mentor, Kate, who will guide you through complex regulatory questions and help you grow into more independent ownership.
What you’ll own
— Prepare and submit regulatory reports for the EMI: accurate, complete, and on time
— Track regulatory changes and support their implementation in the company
— Keep internal policies and procedures up to date and aligned with CBC, CySEC, EBA, and EU frameworks
— Review new products and processes for regulatory and compliance requirements
— Prepare impact assessments for product launches and operational changes
— Work with Product, Finance, and Tech teams to put compliance processes into daily operations
— Support audits, inspections, and reviews: prepare materials, respond to requests, follow up on actions
— Support due diligence and risk monitoring for merchants, partners, and providers
— Maintain records of regulatory communications, approvals, and reports
— Suggest improvements to our controls, tools, and processes
You’re a great fit if you have
— Degree in Law, International Law, International Business or Relations, or a related field
— 2+ years of experience in compliance, legal, risk, or a related area
— Good understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance principles
— Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
— Ability to meet deadlines and manage several tasks at once
— Comfort with dynamic work and a high sense of responsibility
— Strong English skills(B2+)
— Willingness to learn fast and take ownership
Nice to have
Experience in fintech, payments, or EMI environments
— Exposure to regulatory reporting
— Familiarity with AML/KYC and client due diligence
— Exposure to policy development
— Compliance certifications (ACAMS, ICA, etc.) or readiness to pursue them
Why Solidgate?
Real impact on how the business grows. Compliance here is a competitive advantage, not a roadblock. Your work decides how fast new products can launch, and you’ll be part of the conversations where those decisions are made.
More than a classic compliance role. It’s a hybrid of compliance and project management. You’ll support the launch of new services: crypto, new licensing projects, marketplace/payment facilitation, and card issuing.
International scope. You’ll work with CBC, CySEC, EBA, and EU frameworks, across jurisdictions from Europe and the US to LATAM and Asia.
No routine. Regulatory reporting for the EMI, product and risk assessments, AML/KYC, merchant monitoring, audits, and inspections. Every week brings something new.
Fast growth with support. You’ll work closely with Product, Finance, and Tech, and learn from experienced colleagues. We cover your learning budget and professional certifications such as ACAMS or ICA.
💌 The Extras: 30+ days off, unlimited sick leave, free office meals, health coverage, and Apple gear to keep you productive. Courses, conferences, sports and wellness benefits, all designed for ideas, focus, and fun.
Tomorrow’s fintech needs your mindset. Come build it with us.
