About the role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Oracle Data Migration Architect, Oracle Fusion Cloud and PeopleSoft based in the United States.
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Data Migration Architect to lead a large-scale financial data transformation as an organization transitions from PeopleSoft and other legacy finance systems to Oracle Fusion Cloud. In this senior, hands-on role, you will own the architecture and end-to-end execution of complex, multi-release data conversion activities. You will oversee source-to-target mapping, business rules, data quality, migration workflows, and financial reconciliation to ensure accurate and reliable data transfers. Working alongside client finance stakeholders, systems integrators, technical consultants, and AI-powered automation teams, you will serve as the primary Oracle data authority throughout the transformation. You will also supervise AI-generated mappings and conversion outputs, ensuring they meet rigorous enterprise standards. This is an opportunity to combine deep Oracle expertise with next-generation AI technology to deliver measurable transformation outcomes in a demanding financial services environment.
Accountabilities:
Requirements:
10+ years of professional experience in Oracle ERP, including at least three end-to-end Oracle Fusion Cloud data conversion or migration projects. Strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials, particularly General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets. Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Procurement and Project Portfolio Management (PPM). Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials data structures and a strong understanding of legacy financial data conversion processes. Extensive practical experience with FBDI and, where relevant, HDL templates, including data loading, troubleshooting, error resolution, and mock conversion cycles. Proven experience managing financial data reconciliation, including subledger-to-general-ledger reconciliation, balance validation, and collaboration with finance stakeholders. Experience working alongside systems integrators on large-scale Oracle Cloud implementation and transformation programs. Strong SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, validation, and reconciliation. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with finance subject matter experts, senior executives, technical teams, and external implementation partners. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage complex data dependencies and competing priorities. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or another relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Ability to work in a senior, client-facing capacity and coordinate effectively with distributed and offshore teams.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) or Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS). Previous experience in financial services, banking, investment management, or asset management environments. Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Time and Labor or contingent worker data. Experience working with artificial intelligence, robotic process automation (RPA), or automated data conversion platforms. Oracle Cloud certification in Financials or Oracle Cloud Implementation.
