About the role

SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today, SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of making life multiplanetary and expanding consciousness to the stars.

SpaceXSI is building Super Intelligence to help humanity understand the universe. Our teams are building the full Super Intelligence stack: from our Colossus supercomputers, to Grok models, to our suite of applications, including Grok Bot, Grok Build, Grok Imagine, Grok Voice, and X. We're creating a powerful flywheel where more compute trains better models, better models power more useful products, and what we learn from people using those products shapes what we build next.

About the role
As a Lifecycle Growth Manager at SpaceXSI, you’ll own the customer lifecycle for one or more of our products across Grok, Grok Bot, X, Cursor and the API, from activation and paid conversion through team expansion, retention and winback. You’ll set the strategy, decide which opportunities to pursue, and then build and ship the programs that go after them.

The work sits at the intersection of product, marketing and engineering. You’ll use data, agents and code to build the system that turns signups into daily users and daily users into revenue. You’ll own it end to end, from the first message a user sees to the data model underneath. And when the biggest lever is in the product experience itself, you’ll make the case and get it shipped.

The role spans consumer and business, self-serve and sales-led. You’ll need to think as clearly about a solo user’s first week as about a team’s path to an enterprise deal. Your work will shape how millions of people use these products after signup, across in-product messages, email, push, and the agents themselves.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy and roadmap: Set lifecycle strategy from activation and paid conversion through expansion, retention and winback. Identify the biggest opportunities, set priorities across products, and own the results.

  • Segmentation and audiences: Own how we understand our users: which segments matter across products, plans and lifecycle stages, what distinguishes them, and why each adopts, pays and stays. Combine behavioral data with what users tell us, and make that understanding the shared language for who hears what and what we build next.

  • Journeys and channels: Own the experience users have with us after signup, across in-product, email, push and the agents themselves. Decide when we show up and when we don’t, and build journeys that adapt to who each user is, what they’re doing and where they are in the lifecycle.

  • Systems and tooling: Drive the data model lifecycle runs on, including identity, events, attributes and eligibility, and partner with engineering on the warehouse syncs, APIs and webhooks behind it. Use SQL, agents and code to build the tools, templates and QA that let the team ship faster.

  • Experimentation and measurement: Set the measurement standard for growth after signup: every program runs with a holdout and is judged on incremental uplift to revenue, usage and retention. Decide what to scale, iterate or stop, and own the growth readout for leadership: what moved, what you learned, where to invest next.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years in lifecycle marketing, growth product marketing or product growth at a high-growth product company, including ownership of a growth area from strategy through execution.

  • A track record of programs that increased revenue, paid users or retention, supported by experiments and holdouts.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience across consumer and business products, self-serve and sales-led growth, and a clear view of how each changes what you build and how you measure it.

  • Technical depth. You use AI agents and code daily and understand the data well enough to design what lifecycle runs on: events, identity, attributes, eligibility, and the syncs and APIs that keep them current.

  • A history of building lifecycle systems with engineering rather than running campaigns on top of them, including hands-on experience in a platform such as Braze, Customer.io or Iterable.

  • Strong customer and messaging judgment. You can make a product’s value clear to a developer or a consumer, and know what to say to whom at each moment in the lifecycle.

  • A point of view on how agents change lifecycle, from proactive outreach to how programs get built, and experience putting it into practice.

Additional Requirements

  • This role requires working in person from our San Francisco office.
