About the role
About Echo
Echo delivers frontier-hardened software across the enterprise software supply chain.
Echo's containers, libraries, OS packages, VMs, and more are built and patched from source by agentic pipelines, and continuously vetted for supply chain threats. With us, developers and agents can build with secure-by-default software that's compatible with the tools and versions they already use.
We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team, lead the frontend, and work on the platform our customers use.
What you'll do
Lead the frontend of Echo's customer platform and own features end-to-end, from the UI to the Node.js API and data behind them, including in-app AI experiences
Own the frontend stack: components, tooling, and deployment pipeline
Build and evolve our customer-facing views, such as dashboards, notifications, and activity tracking, working with Design from Figma to production
Shape our design system and conventions so that both engineers and coding agents ship consistent UI fast
Work closely with Product and other engineers to turn customer needs into shipped features, from planning through delivery
What you bring
Required
5+ years of experience in modern frontend technologies with strong focus on user experience, with deep React and TypeScript expertise
3+ years of hands-on backend experience (Node.js preferred), with a working understanding of databases and data modeling (SQL or an ORM)
Proven ability to build fast, responsive interfaces that stay performant with large, data-heavy views
Strong product sense: you think about what users need beyond the spec and can explain your trade-offs
Strong engineering fundamentals: testing, owning CI/CD or deployment pipelines for frontend apps, and integrating third-party or poorly documented APIs
Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Preferred
Experience building design systems or data-heavy dashboards
Experience with agent-ready frontend workflows, such as Storybook and Figma-to-code
Experience building AI-powered product features, such as chat, agents or LLM-backed views
