About the Role
Join an early-stage healthtech team building AI-powered tools for clinical trial recruitment and patient support. As a founding product engineer, you will help shape the product and build full-stack features that connect patients with relevant clinical studies.
What You'll Do
Build and orchestrate AI agents that support patient recruitment across clinical trials.
Develop matching systems that use patient profiles and real-world outcomes to identify relevant trials.
Scale conversational experiences across voice, SMS, and email while maintaining consistent, personalized interactions.
Integrate the product with healthcare and research systems, including legacy tools without public APIs.
Own product improvements end to end, from design and implementation through deployment and customer feedback.
What We're Looking For
One to six years of software engineering experience building products for real users.
Full-stack experience across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, with a track record of shipping user-facing products end to end.
Proficiency with TypeScript and Python; experience with Next.js, AWS, Terraform, and Docker is relevant.
Strong computer science or related technical fundamentals, supported by an undergraduate degree in a relevant field or comparable experience.
Experience in an early-stage or high-growth product environment, with high ownership and the ability to lead projects independently.
Healthcare or life sciences technology experience is valuable; an interest in clinical research and patient engagement is important.
Ability to work effectively both with and without AI coding tools.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $170,000 to $220,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
