About the Role
Own product development end to end at an early-stage SaaS company serving merchants. You will identify customer problems, make product decisions, build polished solutions, and ship improvements directly to production.
What You'll Do
Take features from problem definition through implementation and production, working across frontend and backend as needed.
Speak with customers, review session replays, and use firsthand feedback to understand their needs.
Make product and interaction decisions, often owning the thinking behind a user flow.
Build thoughtful, high-quality interfaces with strong attention to product craft.
Maintain a clear, robust codebase that supports a growing engineering team.
What We're Looking For
Four to eight years of product engineering experience, including shipping and owning features from problem definition to production without relying on a handed-down specification.
Hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js, and ownership of both frontend and backend work.
Strong computer science fundamentals, typically demonstrated through a CS degree.
Experience at a growth-stage startup, ideally one backed by venture capital, and a track record of strong engineering standards.
Examples of thoughtful product and interface craft, plus experience with AI-assisted development tools.
E-commerce or commerce platform experience is useful. A founder background is also valued.
Must be able to work without visa sponsorship.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is $150,000 to $350,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
