About the role
We are a market-leading, mission-driven organisation focused on accelerating the transition to a net-zero economy through innovative financing solutions. As we enter a significant period of growth, we are recruiting for a key role within our Capital Markets operations team to support our increasingly sophisticated funding requirements.
You'll own the reporting and data behind our securitisation and warehouse funding lines. You'll produce investor reports from loan-level data tapes, run reconciliations and cash sweeps, and use SQL to improve and automate how we work. You won't just be checking data; you'll be the one directly producing the reports and deliverables that keep the capital behind a rapidly expanding leasing business flowing.
This is a hands-on data operations role, not an analytics or deal execution role. Around two-thirds of the role is owning recurring reporting and cash processes to a high standard of accuracy; the rest is making those processes better.
This role requires a minimum of two days per week in our London office.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the team's recurring reporting and cash processes: a weekly sell-in report, monthly utilisation and servicing reports, end-of-lease and ineligible buyouts, and rental and early termination fee sweeps. You will also help keep our funding facilities running accurately and on schedule.
Securitisation & Investor Reporting
Own the end-to-end production of investor reports, facility utilisation tracking, and loan-level data tapes - you build these reports directly, not just support them - ensuring high accuracy and consistency across all deliverables
Fund Sweep & Cash Operations
Facilitate facility cash sweeps by validating rental fees, termination totals, and buyback settlements across securitisation structures.
Portfolio & Asset Tracking
Maintain asset lifecycle trackers (e.g. end-of-lease, defaults, and buybacks) to provide real-time visibility over reserve assets and borrowing base capacity.
Covenant & Trigger Monitoring
Monitor transaction covenants and performance triggers across securitisation facilities, flagging potential breaches to the wider Capital Markets team.
Audit & Reconciliation
Run reconciliations between granular loan-level data tapes and facility summary reports, and prepare materials for investor audit requests, identifying and resolving discrepancies yourself.
Process & Data Optimisation
Process improvement and automation: maintain and improve our SQL/Python and Databricks workflows - fix issues, add automated checks and remove manual steps - working with Finance, Data and Operations teams.
What you'll need...
A degree in Finance, Economics, Maths or a related discipline, plus 1 - 3 years of work or internship experience in finance, or in a role that involved working with large, complex datasets (tens of thousands of rows or more). You don't need a Capital Markets background specifically, but you do need real reps with numbers at scale.
Experience maintaining or auditing spreadsheet-based trackers and reconciliations to a solid working level. You understand how a single input error can propagate through a report, and you build in the checks to catch it before it ships.
A demonstrated ability to take ownership of a reporting deliverable start to finish, not just review or QA someone else's output. Even at a smaller scale, you've taken a dataset or report from raw numbers to a complete, accurate document on your own.
Working SQL: you can read, debug and modify existing queries.
A self-driven problem-solving mindset, with a genuine willingness to learn unfamiliar financial structures quickly and go talk to the right person across the business when something doesn't reconcile.
Clear written and verbal communication, comfortable explaining numbers and flagging issues to internal stakeholders.
Nice to have: Python (pandas), and exposure to lending, leasing, auto finance or securitisation reporting.
Genuine motivation to apply your financial and technical skillset to a business funding the transition to electric vehicles. The reports you produce are part of how that capital actually gets managed.
